    Team Unicorn ace Chris Dobey will make his debut at the World Matchplay next month in Blackpool.

    He secured his prized place at the Winter Gardens with a brilliant run to a first Euro Tour final.

    Dobey may have lost the final of the Danish Darts Open to Dave Chisnall in Copenhagen, but his stock continued to rise over the weekend.

    “Of course it is disappointing not to win my first big PDC title, but that will come I know. So many players have eyes on Blackpool and the Matchplay, so to achieve that goal means a lot to me,” he said.

    Together with Peter Wright, the pair took Scotland to the pinnacle as they beat surprise finalists the Republic of Ireland in the final in Hamburg.

    Super Ted Evetts produced some super darts to claim two titles on the latest weekend of the PDC Unicorn Development Tour.

    It takes Evetts tally of wins to FOUR this year on the Development Tour and he is a clear leader at the top of the order of merit.

    The Team Unicorn starlet beat Irishman Shane McGuirk 5-3 in the final of event 10 on Saturday and Evetts then whitewashed Bradley Brooks to claim event 12 on Sunday at Milton Keynes.

    Suns and Riders Win Play-off Finals At The O2

    The BBL and WBBL’s show-stopping marquee event at London’s O2 Arena took place over the weekend, with the very best male and female basketball players fighting it out to take home the BBL Play-offs title.

    In the BBL final, the perennial favourites Leicester Riders took on the reigning BBL Trophy winners, the London City Royals. It was familiar territory for the defending-champion Riders who reached their sixth final in eight years.
