Gloucestershire’s Ben Charlesworth made his County Championship debut aged 17 in August 2018. His nine innings would include two half centuries and an unbeaten 77, a score not bettered by a 17-year old Gloucestershire player in over 70 years.
In October of that year, he travelled to the Caribbean for England U19’s 50-over Tri-Series and in December was named in 2020 U19 World Cup squad.
