6’4’’ Adam Hose is a top-order batter who had already made two centuries for Somerset’s Second XI before signing a professional contract with the club as a 23-year old, in 2015.
Adam joined Warwickshire in 2017. In his T20 debut for Birmingham Bears, he scored 76 from just 43 balls (including a huge six that landed on the top deck of the Edgbaston pavilion). The bow prompted Ian Bell to comment that it was: ‘probably the best debut I've ever seen from a Warwickshire player.’
Since joining Warwickshire, Adam has featured across all formats for the club, helping them reach the 2017 T20 Blast final and win Championship Division Two in 2018.
In June 2019, he made his maiden Championship century against Nottinghamshire and in September 2020, played one of the greatest T20 innings the format has ever seen, blasting 119 off 64 balls for Bears against Northamptonshire. It was a stunning knock that featured seven sixes and nine fours.
