Team Unicorn 2023 boasts three World Champions. Our World Champions are, back to back 2015 and 2016 Champion Gary Anderson, Ambassador 3-time World Champion John Lowe MBE & 1988 World Champion Bob Anderson.
Premier
Premier is the Elite grouping of Unicorn PDC Premier League players just a heartbeat away from World Champion status. The Team Unicorn 2023 list showcases a formidable player in the 11 time major title winner, 'The Machine', James Wade.
Maestro
PDC stars Ian White & Jeffrey de Zwaan line-up alongside Japanese no.1 Seigo Asada as Team Unicorn Maestros for 2022 - a select group in a class of their own. They are excellent darts professionals at the top of their game, but just lacking Premier League status or a World Championship title. However, 2023 could be their year.
Contender
Team Unicorn 2022 Contenders, include emerging PDC players Callan Rydz, Adam Hunt, Madars Razma, Ted Evetts & Mark McGeeney plus Japanese duo Toru Suzuki & Kasumi Sato. These seven players are exactly what they’re called; professionals establishing their careers in darts, snapping at the heels of the established players and likely to surprise many with their skill, dedication and 'can do' enthusiasm. They know no fear and major titles are theirs for the taking.
Global
Global for 2022 includes five great darts personalities from all round the world and at different stages of their careers. More than anything else, this shows Unicorn’s commitment to darts throughout the world and to all dart players everywhere. Players of all levels, not just those at the very top, can make a valuable contribution to their chosen sport and Global gives Unicorn a chance to support these players from countries including, Hungary, Switzerland & Scotland to name a few.
Generation 180
Launched in 2007, Generation 180 is specifically for Academy and Junior players, who are the future of the sport. This typifies Unicorn’s absolute long term commitment to the grass roots game. Our Generation 180 line-up includes talented youngsters - Kyle Manton and our latest recruit, PDC Development Tour player Henry Coates. Other categories beware.
