Liam Patterson-White

Only a couple of years into his professional career, Liam Patterson-White has made his name as a player able to affect the outcome of cricket matches with either bat or ball.

In February 2017, the left-arm spinner kept his cool to dismiss Ishan Porel off the last ball and ensure the U-19 ODI between England and India ended in a thrilling tie.

On his Nottinghamshire debut against Somerset in 2019 he was so ill on the first day’s play that he was unable to take the field at all. Incredibly, he returned in the second innings to take 5-71!

Two years later, in August 2021, Liam took an inspired 5-19 against Northamptonshire before scoring his maiden First Class century against Somerset only a matter of days later. In September he signed off with 5-41 against Hampshire to complete an impressive few weeks.
