    Evetts hit another 9 darter on his way to reaching ET3 and ET4 in Munich and Saarbrucken next month, while Dobey and Anderson also made it through to both the German Darts Grand Prix and German Darts Open.
     
    Other Unicorn success saw Keegan Brown and Kim Huybrechts qualify for Munich, while Dimitri van den Bergh and Jeffrey de Zwaan made it to ET4.

    Royals & Riders Crowned Trophy Champions

    One of British Basketball’s biggest weekends lived up to the billing this past weekend as the BBL and WBBL Trophy finalists tipped off in Glasgow.

    The BBL final saw an all-London showdown between the Royals and the Lions, with the Royals aiming to create history by winning silverware in their maiden BBL season. Meanwhile, the Lions were hoping to add to their BBL trophy collection having already won the Cup earlier this year.

    Matthew Bryan-Amaning led the Royals' scoring with 26 points and Ashley Hamilton added 25 points in the first final to go to overtime in BBL history. Justin Robinson led the Lions with 20 points and Ladarius Tabb and Brandon Peel added 17 points each.

    Aldershot based Wade, produced the first whitewash of the season by storming past Daryl Gurney 7-0.

    The 2009 champion followed up last week's victory over Van Gerwen with the highest average of the season to date of 109.59 as he also limited Gurney to just two darts at a double.

    It was a double-win delight for Team Unicorn duo James Wade & Michael Smith.

    James Wade stole the show as he ended Michael van Gerwen's winning start to the 2019 Unibet Premier League season with an emphatic 7-3 victory over the Dutchman at Westpoint Exeter.

    Night Four of the campaign saw four-time champion Van Gerwen taste defeat in a televised match for the first time since November, as Wade repeated his 2016 Premier League triumph over the world number one.

    Eight missed doubles in the opening six legs from Van Gerwen saw Wade make the most of his opportunities to stay in the contest
