Ensure your device is connected to you ScoreBuddy® dart board. To do this, check that the connection status indicator in the ScoreBuddy® app is blue. This can be found in the top right-hand corner in the ScoreBuddy® app.
To connect to ScoreBuddy® app to your Smartboard®, click the connection status indicator, which is found in the top right corner of the ScoreBuddy® app.
Enable permissions, location and Bluetooth on your device and ensure that your device has a good, stable internet connection.
Press the blue button on your Smartboard®. The magnetizer light will flash green.
The Smartboard® status should now say Enabled. If it does not, then press the greenRECONNECT button.
A successful connection will make the light on the Smartboard® turn a solid green, the smartboard connection status will be Enabled and the connection status indicator in the ScoreBuddy® app will be blue.
To play with friends online, select the FRIENDS button within the ScoreBuddy® main menu.
If you have not done so already, then you will need to subscribe in order to play online. Do this by pressing the green button that says GET PRO.
You will be presented with the option to UPGRADE TO PRO. Press the green button to do so and follow the in-app instructions to subscribe to ScoreBuddy® Pro
If you have already subscribed to ScoreBuddy® Pro, then you will see the following CONNECTING TO GAME HUB screen as the online set-up initiates.
You will be ready to play with friends and presented with the option to JOIN AN EXISTING LOBBY or CREATE A NEW LOBBY,
To create a new lobby, enter your chosen lobby name and click CREATE
To enter an existing lobby, enter the lobby code and click JOIN.
As a host you can share the lobby code with your friends using the share button in the top right-hand corner
If you are hosting a game you can CHANGE GAME, CONFIGURE GAME and change the GAME RULES using the corresponding buttons, as foumd towards to the top of the screen. You can ADD LOCAL PLAYERS using the button at the bottom of the screen. Lobby settings are changed by clicking the Gear symbol in the top right-hand corner of the sreen.
When you are ready to play, tick the box next to your player name until you see a green tick.
Once all players have readied up, the host presses CHOOSE TEAMS you will all be taken to a Who’s playing screen. Here the host can choose the teams the players are in and the order in which they will play.
The host can randomly select the player order by clicking SHUFFLE
Press START to commence game play
Press YES to begin or NO to go back
The game will commence and it will automatically rotate your screen to landscape for optimal performance. Enjoy!
