Adam Paxton

He may only be 18-years-old but young Adam Paxton is already attracting plenty of attention in the world of darts.

And the teenager is Team Unicorn’s latest signing as the company continues to look to the future in the sport.

Paxton comes highly recommended…..Team Unicorn star Jamie Caven believes he has huge potential.

“I first met young Adam about three years ago. I did an exhibition in Coventry and we played a leg. He beat me fair and square and from that moment I kept an eye on him.”

Caven added: “He broke all records at the Steve Brown Darts Academy. He has also played superbly at my darts academy. It is all there for Adam if he wants it. Let’s see how he does when he plays on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour, but in my opinion, he has the talent to succeed in the sport!”

Caven put Adam forward to Unicorn and the rest is history, but it is the future that is certainly in his own hands!

Born in Coventry, he lives in Nuneaton and is a talented all round sportsman. Adam played football at the Derby County Academy. He has only been playing darts for three years but has already hit nine darters in practice!

“To be considered good enough to join a company as big as Unicorn is incredible for me,” the youngster said. “I want to push my career as far as I can and join the long list of Unicorn players at the very top of world darts.”

A quarter-finalist at the World Youth tournament, the champion and record scorer at the Steve Brown Darts Academy and a real enthusiasm for succeed.
