Wihan Lubbe

With over 200 games to his name across a 13-year career to date, Wihan Lubbe has made a name for himself with match-defining contributions on more than one occasion.

However, he’ll have to go some way to top the events of September 15, 2008.

Lining up for North West in the Africa T20 Cup, the left-hander pummelled 11 sixes on his way to a 33-ball century, at the time the third fastest in the format, behind only Rishabh Pant and Chris Gayle.

It remains his only three-figure score in the shortest format, to go with 12 fifties, adding to his 10 hundreds and 28 half-centuries in First-Class and List A matches combined.

It was in the T20 arena where he pulled on the shirt of South Africa on two occasions in April of 2021, against Pakistan in Johannesburg.

His handy off-spin has also seen him pick up over 120 professional wickets, including two five-wicket hauls in First-Class cricket, with a best of 5-20.
