Stanley McAlindon
- Biography
A tall right-arm seamer who can also provide handy lower order runs, Stanley McAlindon showed his prowess with both bat and ball immediately after making his Durham debut.
Having made his First-Class bow against Derbyshire in July 2022, McAlindon hit 50 and took 4-29, still to date his best figures, against Leicestershire aged just 18.
Unfortunately, since bursting onto the scene, the Academy graduate has struggled with injury, failing to step on the field for his club in 2023.
Heading into the 2024 summer he returned figures of 3-34 against Zimbabwe A but a fresh hamstring injury sidelined him once more, restricting him to mostly Second Eleven outings last year, and a single List A appearance.
