Joey Evison

2019 was quite a year for Nottinghamshire’s allrounder.

In September, he made his County Championship debut for Nottinghamshire, against Warwickshire, hitting an assured 45.

Three months later, he equalled the world record for the fastest half-century in Youth ODI cricket; Joey made 50 off 18 balls for England U19s v Sri Lanka U19s. Later that month he was named in the England 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad that triumphed in the Plate Final.

Following a year of injury, Joey resumed his development in 2021.

The 20-year old took a maiden First-Class five-wicket haul against Durham, and a maiden First-Class fifty against Yorkshire.
