Dane Schdendorf

Zimbabwe U19 wicketkeeper Dane went viral in January 2020 when a quick-thinking legside stumping caught New Zealand out in a warm-up match for the U19s World Cup.

He went on to sign a two-year deal with Nottinghamshire in December of that year and made a surprise County Championship debut in July 2021. Replacing England-bound Ben Duckett, Dane scored 24 and claimed four catches in Derbyshire’s second innings.

Born in Harare, but holding a British passport, Dane will be looking to add to his first team experience in 2022.
