Alex Davies

A talented batter/wicketkeeper with an eye on international selection, Warwickshire’s Alex Davies has excited onlookers since becoming Lancashire's youngest one-day player as a 16-year old in 2011.

In 2017, Alex proved his consistency with the bat, passing 1,000 first-class runs in a single season. He was the first Lancashire wicketkeeper to reach the milestone.

Alex had already earned a half-century for England's Under-19s against South Africa in 2012; a Man of the Match award in the 2015 T20 Blast Final; and a maiden Championship century against Essex earlier in the season.

He would go on to notch a century as opening batter for England Lions in 2019 against an Indian A, and continues to impress with bat and glove.

Now at Warwickshire, this season will be an exciting watch…
