Ollie Tewatiya

An explosive left-hander capable of making crucial breakthroughs with his slow left arm orthodox bowling, Ollie Tewatiya is one of a batch of bright young talent coming out of New Zealand.
Part of the Wellington age-group set up for the past four years, his form in 2023, which included a strike rate of 141 and an average of 59, put him in the top five run-scorers in the national tournament and guided his side to a runners-up finish.
Representing the Black Caps at the U19 World Cup at the start of 2024, the teenager also joined Wellington A whilst taking on vice-captaincy for the U19s.
