Sol Budinger’s reputation as a rapid-scoring, top-order batter continues to grow.
Last season, he gained valuable experience as part of Nottinghamshire's first-team set-up after being named in their 50-over and T20 campaigns. He scored 52 runs in five T20 appearances and a further 165 runs, at a strike rate of 123.13, in eight List A matches. His List A haul included a 61-ball 73 against Yorkshire to record his maiden half-century.
The 22-year old left hander was building on the 1,000 runs scored for Nottinghamshire in Academy and Second XI cricket – a total that included an 86-ball century for the club’s Academy.
