Nathan Buck

Nathan Buck burst onto the scene as a teenager. After joining England U19s on a tour of South Africa in 2009, he emerged as the group’s leading wicket taker at the 2010 U-19s World Cup – removing 13 wickets in New Zealand.

Returning home, Nathan took 49 County Championship wickets for Leicestershire. It was a haul that would earn him a place amongst the England Lions group that toured the Caribbean in January 2011 - he would take another five wickets.

The seamer left Leicestershire in 2014 and, after three years at Lancashire, joined Northamptonshire. He has become a core member of the club’s attack showing consistency with both red and white ball. Alongside 250 first class wickets, Bucky has also proven adept with the bat scoring his maiden first class half century against Glamorgan in 2019.

After a domestic season marred by calf injury last time out, Nathan has spent the winter training in Australia and looking forward to hitting the ground running in April.
