Katie George

A left-arm pace bowler, Katie made her Hampshire debut in 2013 taking two wickets against Oxfordshire.

Becoming increasingly established, in 2015 she took another 15 wickets for her county. She went on to lift the Kia Super League title with the Southern Vipers in 2016. Back in the Hampshire’s colours, Katie continued to build her reputation, emerging as her county’s second highest wicket-taker in their 2018 Championship winning season.

As a result of her club performances, Katie was named in the England 2018 squad for their tri-series against India and Australia, and took a hat-trick in a warm-up against India A. She made her ODI debut for England in the following series and took 3/36 against New Zealand.
