Ben Charlesworth

Notching 77 against Middlesex in 2018 Ben Charlesworth made the highest score by a 17-year-old for Gloucestershire in over 70 years.

Since those early days with the County, the adaptable all-rounder has gone on to make 92 appearances across all competitions and was a key part of Gloucestershire’s first ever Vitality Blast title in 2024.

Entrusted with opening the batting alongside Cameron Bancroft in the same year, Charlesworth returned 723 runs from 11 innings at 48.20, including a career-best effort of 210 against Leicestershire.

Signed on for another two seasons with Gloucestershire on the back of his best summer to date, Charlesworth’s all-round talent will be given further time to grow in the coming years.
