Amy Jones

An incredibly talented batter for club and country, Amy Jones has cemented her place as England’s first choice wicket keeper over the last few years.

Jones made her international debut in the 2013 World Cup, aged just 19, where she showed signs of things to come with an assured 41 against Sri Lanka.

She would go on to make a 124 for Warwickshire against Essex in 2014’s County Championship and a superb 155* for England academy in an Ashes warm-up match against the touring Australians soon after.

The summer of 2018 is when things really started happening for Amy. Her 94 for England against India in Nagpur was followed by two ODI half centuries against New Zealand. A 53* in the Women's World T20 semi-final win over India earned her a Player of the Match award and England a final date against Australia.

In 2021, Jones hit an unbeaten 163* in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, the highest ever score in the tournament.

Jones’ career has seen her excel in several domestic leagues as well, including the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) in Australia and The Hundred in England, where she has often been a standout performer.
