James Bazley

A 6ft 5in all-rounder, James Bazley first showcased his cricketing talents for Australia’s U19s at the 2014 World Cup, averaging 25 with bat and hand and chipping in with nine wickets.

Having begun his career on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Bazley’s first steps onto the professional scene came with a Cricket Australia XI, making his debut across all three formats in 2014 and 2015.

After injuries blighted his progress, it took until 2021 to return to a full contract with the Bulls, having made his Big Bash League debut for Brisbane Heat in 2020/21.

The 29-year-old has been an ever-present on the BBL scene since, representing the Heat on 34 occasions before plying his trade with the Adelaide Strikers in the previous two editions.
