Freddie McCann

A whirlwind 12 months was capped for Freddie McCann with a knock of 130 in the final County Championship match of 2024, his second of the month.

Signing his first professional terms in the 2023 off-season, having graduated from Notts’ Academy, the 19-year-old enjoyed a stellar first summer.

Equalling the highest U19 ODI score with 174 against Sri Lanka, McCann made his Green and Golds debut in all three formats, starting with a 32-ball 48 against Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast.

Eight List A fixtures followed before the left-hander averaged 51.14 across five games at the back end of the County Championship summer, including two centuries, his maiden First-Class ton a score of 154 against Champions-elect Surrey.
