An all-rounder capable of sharp pace and bounce, Henry Shipley is the latest in a long line of impressive fast bowling stock coming from New Zealand.

Making his Canterbury List A and First-Class debuts in 2016, to date he’s taken over 170 wickets and made nine half-centuries.

His returns for the Kings catapulted him into New Zealand reckoning at the start of 2023, making 13 appearances between January and May, including a match-winning spell of 5-31 against Sri Lanka.

He maintained his form into summer where he enjoyed his first county spell, taking 13 wickets in three matches for Sussex.

Coming into his prime fast bowling years, Shipley will be aiming to rediscover the form that earned him his New Zealand caps in the white-ball arena.
