Eathan Bosch

From playing cricket alongside his older brother in the backyard, to making his international debut just a month after Corbin’s, Eathan Bosch completed the family fairytale in early February when pulling on a Proteas jersey.

Both following in the footsteps of their father Tertius, who tragically passed away in 2000, Eathan progressed from watching Corbin in the stands in late 2024 to getting his own crack at international cricket leading into the Champions Trophy.

A fast-bowling all-rounder, Bosch initially represented KwaZulu-Natal before joining the Dolphins, becoming their leading wicket-taker in the 2018-19 four-day competition with 31 scalps in just nine games.

To date the 26-year-old has made just short of 150 professional appearances, taking over 200 wickets and scoring in excess 2,000 runs, including a First-Class century.

Making his South African debut in February 2025, Bosch began life as a Protea with figures of 1-33, dismissing New Zealand’s Will Young for his first international wicket.
