Bryce Parsons

    Bryce Parsons

Taking the well-trodden path from King Edward VII School to higher sporting honours, Bryce Parsons’ cricketing talent has been on show since a young age.

South Africa’s U19 captain for the 2020 World Cup, he scored over 700 runs and contributed vital wickets during his time with the age group.

Stepping up to the professional game, Parsons has passed fifty on eight occasions during his first 20 First-Class matches, converting three of those into centuries and a highest score of 191.

Having said during an early interview that he modelled his game on ‘the instinctive Quinton de Kock’, his big-hitting attributes came to the fore on SA20 debut in early 2025, hitting a 28-ball 47 at the top of the Durban Super Giants’ order.

During the South African off-season Parsons will return to English shores for a stint with Littleborough Cricket Club, having spent 2023 down in Devon with Sidmouth CC, hitting 1,303 runs at 62 and taking 33 wickets at 17.
