Rob Lord

Rob Lord shot to prominence last summer, signing a short-term contract for Nottinghamshire heading into the Metro Bank One Day Cup before committing for two years by the end of the summer.

Born in Salford, Lord had been playing National Counties for Cheshire before getting his chance with the Outlaws, taking 11 wickets at 22.63 in the One-Day competition including figures of 5-45 in just his second match.

Making his First-Class debut at the back end of August, the bowling all-rounder added ten wickets in the remaining four matches of the season, including the scalps of Dom Sibley, Dean Elgar and Tom Westley.
