Jordan Silk

A stalwart of the Australian game since his debuts for Tasmania and Sydney Sixers in 2013, Jordan Silk is a dual threat in the cricketing arena, with the bat in hand and in the outfield.

Often found in highlight reel catches Silk was used as a fielding substitute for Australia in December 2012, months before he made his First-Class bow.

Recruited from Sydney grade cricket, Silk hit a century in his second game to take Tasmania to the Sheffield Shield final, adding another three-figure score to help the state win its third title.

In the Big Bash, Silk has represented the Sydney Sixers on over 120 occasions since 2013, amassing over 2,200 runs and 77 catches, the most by any outfielder in the history of the competition.

A double BBL winner with men in magenta, Silk hit 382 runs and took a remarkable 16 catches in 16 matches in the Sixers’ 2020-21 triumph.
