Georgia Wareham
- Biography
A triple World Cup winner who has represented her country on more than 100 occasions, Georgia Wareham’s cricketing CV is already impressively stacked at the age of just 25.
The youngest player in the inaugural WBBL season, Wareham has represented Melbourne Renegades since the beginning of the tournament back in 2015.
She established herself as Australia’s first-choice leg-spinner in 2018, winning the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean, before adding the 2020 (on home soil) and 2023 titles to her international trophy cabinet, to go with a WPL triumph with Royal Challengers last March.
Striking at 138.88 with the bat and taking her 63 short format wickets at just 16.58, Wareham has been an integral part of Australian sides since her debut.
Ever-improving with the bat in hand, 2024 has seen Wareham notch a first IT20 fifty and a career-best 69 for the Renegades.
