Sunday marked another momentous day for British Basketball fans, as the four teams battled it out in the BBL/WBBL Play Off Finals at a packed 02 Arena.

The WBBL final was a closely contested match, with a dominant fourth quarter from the Sevenoaks Suns taking the victory. Nottingham Wildcats had the stronger start of the two sides, but the Suns produced a fantastic finish to take the game 70-61. Catherine Carr secured the Molten MVP Award, with an impressive 20 points and 14 rebounds playing a huge role in the Suns success.

The BBL final proved and much more one sided affair, with the Leicester Riders finishing a strong season in style with an 84-63 win over the Newcastle Eagles. The Riders came out of the gates quickly, gaining a lead early on in the match and maintaining it throughout the match. The Molten MVP award went to Pierre Hampton, who scored 14 points and 14 rebounds to help his team take the title.
