Evetts at the Double!
Unicorn ace Ted Evetts has proved once again just why is he one of the best young talents in the sport.

‘Super Ted’ claimed a brilliant double on the opening weekend of the 2019 PDC Unicorn Development Tour in Wigan.

It takes his tally of Development Tour wins to six.

On Sunday Evetts was in dominant form. He was a 5-1 winner over Andrew Davidson in DT 4. His toughest test came in the last 16 where he edged out Ryan Meikle in a deciding leg. Meikle had earlier won DT3 with a 5-2 success against Greg Ritchie.

Evetts also won the opening event of the Development Tour year on Saturday with a 5-0 whitewash over Northern Ireland’s Nathan Rafferty.

The Unicorn starlet averaged 103 in the final. But Rafferty hit back superbly to win DT 2 as he beat Aiden Cope 5-2.

There were quarter-final appearances for Team Unicorn’s Jeffrey de Zwaan and Harry Ward.
