Polish star Krzysztof Kciuk will realise an ambition by playing at the Lakeside World Championship after all.
The Team Unicorn ace came through the qualifiers but it has only just been confirmed the tournament will take place at the Lakeside in January with TV coverage on EuroSport.
It will be a big moment for Kciuk, who came through a gruelling day at the qualifiers in Bridlington to best talented Dutch youngster Justin van Tergouw to claim his spot at Lakeside.
“This is great news for Krzysztof” said Unicorn Player Manager Matt Rankin, “and is yet another example of Unicorn supporting the development of darts worldwide.”
The Polish ace will start the tournament in the preliminary round as he aims to make a big impact. It all starts on January 5th 2019.
