It’s all White!

Ian White has extended his stay with Team Unicorn.

The popular 48-year-old has penned a new deal as he bids to turn on the style in the big TV tournaments.

The World No.13 has been frustrated by one stat....he’s never been past the quarter-finals of a PDC ‘Major’

“It does annoy me because I know I have the game to win a TV tournament. It isn’t for lack of hard work that’s for sure,” he said.

“The other big aim this year is to get into the world’s top 10. That would be a great achievement for me.”

In 2018 White has won two more events and hit a 9 darter in the Pro Tour.

“The link up with Unicorn has been brilliant for me. It is the top darts company in the world and I love how they thrive on working with all the players to provide the very best equipment.”

Player Liaison Manager for Team Unicorn, Matt Rankin said: "We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Ian. 'Diamond' is a consistent performer on the PDC Tour and certainly has the experience and ability to rival the very best players at the top end of the game. We very much enjoy working with him. Long may that continue."

White will be back in competitive action next month on the Pro Tour and European Tour before he bids to break that Q/Final TV jinx in Dublin at the World Grand Prix.
