Team Unicorn starlet Ted Evetts has claimed another PDC title.

He won a PDC Unicorn Development Tour event in Hildesheim over the weekend to further boost his darting stock.

In a superb performance, Evetts lost only 10 legs in seven matches as he swept to victory in Development Tour 8, beating Geert Nentjes 5-2 in the final.

It’s a second title of the year for Evetts who won on the PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour in March, and he is now in second spot on the Development Tour Order of Merit.

Evetts also reached the quarter-finals of event 7, as did Dimitri van den Bergh! Fair play to the Unicorn star who travelled to play the weekend in Hildesheim after his heroics at the German Darts Masters.

There were four different winners over the two days of competition. Austria’s Rowby-John Rodriguez, Kenny Neyens of Belgium and England’s Luke Humphries joined Evetts with PDC Unicorn titles.

Unicorn new boy Jeffrey de Zwaan reached the last eight of event 8, while German youngster Nico Blum gained more valuable experience and got through to the last 16 in event 6.

The next weekend on the Development Tour is in Wigan on June 9 and 10.
