Anderson aims high on home soil

Gary Anderson has won five World Series titles over the last two years, but he is still to break his duck in Glasgow.

The Team Unicorn star has suffered shock back-to-back 1st Round defeats at the World Series Finals in Scotland.

And he has been handed a tough draw for the 2017 Ladbrokes World Series Finals which start at the Braehead Arena on Friday night.

Anderson is the top seed and will face either Mensur Suljovic or one of the young Unicorn players that he mentors Chris Dobey!

James Wade is seeded No.5 and he has been drawn to play either Simon Stevenson or Jan Dekker who won through the qualifiers.

There is a big all Unicorn clash between Michael Smith and Dimitri van den Bergh on Friday night. The winner plays the fourth seed Raymond van Barneveld.

After his brilliant triumph at the Auckland Darts Masters back in August, Unicorn Aussie ace Kyle Anderson is seeded 7th and he will play either Jonny Clayton or the in-form Rob Cross.

The seeds enter the fray on Saturday night in Glasgow.
