  1. Vegas ready for US Masters

The World Series has rolled into Las Vegas and three Unicorn stars will bid for glory at the Mandalay Bay resort.

Gary Anderson will play big American DJ Sayre in the 1st Round on Friday. The Scot is the No.2 seed.

Michael Smith has been drawn against Canadian David Cameron, while James Wade meets young American Danny Lauby.

Defending Vegas champion Michael van Gerwen clashes with Jeff Smith who was crowned North American Champion on Thursday.

Smith beat fellow Canadian John Norman Jnr 6-4 in the final to earn himself a prized place at the World Championship!

Smith had survived a match dart in his first game before beating Ross Snook in a deciding leg. He was too good for Lauby in the semi-finals and experience told as he won the title with a 108 finish.

    US Masters 1st Round draw:

Peter Wright (1) v Joseph Huffman

Daryl Gurney v John Norman Jnr

Rob Cross (4) v Ross Snook

    Michael Smith v David Cameron

  2. Black Cobra gets Mighty Mike!

Team Unicorn new boy Jeffrey de Zwaan will take on World No.1 Michael van Gerwen in the 1st Round of the World Matchplay.

It’s a Blackpool baptism of fire for De Zwaan, pictured here with Unicorn executive Matt Rankin,  but the match will hold no fears for the 22-year-old who of course beat Van Gerwen 10-8 at the UK Open Finals in Minehead earlier this year.

Gary Anderson would love to add the Matchplay crown to his CV and the Unicorn star will face Stephen Bunting.

In all, 10 Unicorn players will descend on the Winter Gardens later this month.

Former champion James Wade plays Jermaine Wattimena in the 1st Round. Also in the bottom half Ian White takes on Max Hopp, Belgian ace Kim Huybrechts meets John Henderson and Jelle Klaasen takes on No.2 seed Peter Wright.

The top half looks tougher.....apart from Gary Anderson, it’s Michael Smith against Jonny Clayton and Aussie star Kyle Anderson meets Raymond van Barneveld.....the winner

    Arrival

Every year, Unicorn unveil the latest in cutting edge darts technology, having been at the forefront of darts innovation for over 80 years. The 2019 product launch was no different.

Despite forewarning FIFA that a far more important and prestigious event was taking place on the same day as the World Cup’s opening match, it seems as though the message fell on deaf ears.

Nonetheless, Sales Director Richard Lowy began the day with a short presentation in the theme of the World Cup to thank everyone for attending. The presentation highlighted the global reach of darts, demonstrated just by those in attendance, with trade partners and players coming from across the world to see the latest Unicorn offerings.

  5. RLODC Final

    RLODC Final

The Royal London One Day Cup Final always has a special place in the English cricket calendar. The marquee final takes Place at Lords every year, showcasing the finest talent the County game has to offer.

    JamesVince

This year, James Vince’s Hampshire side faced Kent with both teams desperate to end their respective trophy droughts. It was Kent who won the toss and elected to field first, more on the notion that they prefer to chase than anything the pitch or weather suggested.

However, Hampshire proceeded to post a record total for an English domestic one-day final, thanks largely to Rilee Roussow’s 125. Hampshire’s superb
